What is Angels' House of Illinois?
Angels' House of Illinois is a foster home for children who enter/reenter the foster care system. Here, children will receive the care they need, clothing, healthy meals, a comfortable bed, and a safe, warm home. Additionally, Angels' House provides support for foster parents with much needed resources such as eyeglasses, clothing, school supplies, bedding, some furniture, and connections to other community resources. In the future, Angels' House will host a therapeutic farm in support of youth in care and children in need.
Our Mission
To provide a safe, state approved foster home for children who enter or re-enter the foster care system, where they may begin their journey towards healing in a place with a look and feel of a true home.
To provide emergency support for foster parents receiving youth(s) in care in need of resources like:

To provide day camps and workshops for those suffering from PTSD and other mental health issues. This location will also offer a safe environment for family visits and therapy sessions, among other services.

Goals
Phase III (In progress)
An ADA compliant barn for meeting space and farming operations. Vehicle access and areas for therapies such as: equine/animal therapy, gardening/plant therapy, cooking/art therapy, nature therapy. This barn will provide a space for children to meet, eat meals, and have individual and group sessions. Our goal is to provide a space for children with PTSD to heal and have fun.
Phase I (Completed)
A 4+ bedroom home in Will County and surrounding areas, including all the necessary features required by the state to house foster children while still maintaining the feeling of a true home.
Phase II (Completed)
An 8+ bedroom home with a 5 to ten-acre plot in Will County (LaSalle County) and surrounding areas, which includes all the necessary features required by the state to house foster children.
